Prabowo Inaugurates Anggito Abimanyu as Chairman of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President of RI General (Purn) Prabowo Subianto was inaugurated the head and deputy head of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC) at Istana Negara, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (8/10/2025) at 15.00 WIB. Anggito Abimanyu confirmed his arrival at the Palace for the inauguration procession by President Prabowo.

“Yes, it was reported yesterday afternoon,” Anggito told media crews.

Referring to the position he left, whether it was vacant or someone would replace him, Anggito did not know. “I don't know,” Anggito said.

Meanwhile, Farid Azhar Nasution, who first arrived at the Palace, confirmed that he would live the moment of inauguration. “I was sworn in as deputy head of IDIC, God willing,” Farid told media crews.

In addition, Prabowo will also appoint the head of the Executive Committee for Accelerating Development of Papua. It is the Deputy Minister of Interior Ribka Haluk who will chair the committee.

“(As) Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Acceleration of Development of Papua, but I did not preempt yes the decree there is no later issue of nomenclature later after Mr President reads it,” Ribka told reporters at the Presidential Complex in Jakarta.

The inauguration information was also confirmed by Minister of Transmigration Muhammad Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanegara. He admitted that he was asked to attend the inauguration of a new body in charge of accelerating development in Bumi Cendrawasih.

Following the Republic, a number of Papuan personalities have arrived at the Palace. It was seen Velix Vernando Wanggai until Billy Mambrasar arrived at the Palace to join the inauguration procession.
